Education:
Ms. Ennis graduated cum
laude from the T.C. Williams School of Law of the
University of Richmond in 2006. She also graduated cum
laude from American University in 2003, with Bachelor
of Arts degrees in Political Science and Interdisciplinary
Studies. During law school, Ms. Ennis served as an editor of
the University of Richmond Law Review, was a member
of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest,
and was published in both journals.
Experience / Designations:
Ms. Ennis began working as an associate attorney for the law
office of Martin J. Ganderson, the predecessor in practice
to GANDERSON LAW, P.C., in September, 2007, concentrating in
corporate, estate planning and administration, and elder law
matters. Before she joined the office, Ms. Ennis served as a
law clerk for the Circuit Court of the City of Virginia
Beach. During law school, she clerked for both the Tax
Division of the Department of Justice and the Office of
Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service.
Ms. Ennis is a member of the
Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the
Norfolk and Portsmouth Bar Association. She is admitted to
practice in the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Personal:
Ms. Ennis resides in Norfolk,
although she is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, where
her parents, Ted and Marie Ennis, still reside. She also has
a brother, Mark, who lives in West Deptford, New Jersey. In
her spare time, Ms. Ennis enjoys cooking, reading, and
spending time with family and friends.
