Education:
Mrs. Morris graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2008. She was selected to the Order of the Coif in recognition of outstanding scholarly achievement and contribution to the College of Law. She was also the recipient of the Thomas N. Chambers Award in Taxation, established by the West Virginia Tax Institute in recognition of outstanding achievement in tax law scholarship. Mrs. Morris graduated cum laude from the Honor’s Program at the College of Charleston in 2005. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Finance.
Experience / Designations:
Mrs. Morris began working as an associate attorney for GANDERSON LAW, P.C. in October 2008. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Before beginning as a law clerk at GANDERSON LAW, P.C. in August 2008, Mrs. Morris spent her summers during law school working for a bankruptcy law firm in Pensacola, Florida. During college, she interned with a financial services firm in Charleston, South Carolina.
Mrs. Morris is a member of the Virginia State Bar. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Personal:
Mrs. Morris resides with her husband in Virginia Beach, although she is originally from Morgantown, West Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys traveling around the country to see her family. Her parents now reside in Morgantown, West Virginia and Naples, Florida. She also has three older brothers, who reside in Cincinnati, San Francisco, and Idaho. Mrs. Morris’s other interests include playing with her two dogs, Oscar and Bubba, doing yoga, and golfing.
