Personal:

Mr. Ganderson is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. He is married to the former Robin Kruger (who teaches high school mathematics), and has two children, Justin (who earned his law degree from the University of Miami, and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and is now an associate attorney at the law firm of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP) and Matthew (who earned his graduate degree in education from Old Dominion University, and his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, and has now returned to school to earn his MBA at Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business).

Mr. Ganderson enhanced his interest in sports by following his sons from football fields (Justin) to basketball and tennis courts (Matthew). He continues this tradition by being a strong supporter of scholar-athletes through his membership in the Hurricane Club of the University of Miami and by being a Director of the University of Miami Alumni Association.

Mr. Ganderson is a strong supporter of the development of downtown Norfolk, as evidenced by his involvement in the construction of the office building where GANDERSON LAW, P.C. is located. Mr. Ganderson is also a member of the Downtown Norfolk Council Board of Directors.
