Mr. Ganderson founded GANDERSON LAW, P.C. in 2008 to accommodate the growth of his predecessor firm, the law office of Martin J. Ganderson, which provided both individuals and businesses with legal counseling for more than twenty years. Prior to entering into the private practice of law, Mr. Ganderson practiced as a certified public accountant with the national accounting firm Ernst & Ernst.

Personal:

Mr. Ganderson is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. He is married to the former Robin Kruger (a retired mathematics teacher), and has two children, Justin (who earned his law degree from the University of Miami, and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and is Corporate Director Division Counsel at Northrop Grumman Corporation [Defense Systems Sector]) and Matthew (who earned his MBA from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business, and his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, and is the MBA Managing Director at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business).

Mr. Ganderson is a former director of the University of Miami Alumni Association.

Mr. Ganderson is a strong advocate for the development of downtown Norfolk, as evidenced by his involvement in the construction of the office building where GANDERSON LAW, P.C. is located. He is a former member of the Downtown Norfolk Council Board of Directors.
